Danielle Im
… is the artist behind Blessings of Athena. She created this website to not only showcase her artwork but also to share her journey as a growing artist.
Danielle explores a variety of mediums in order to shape her unique artistic voice. Her artistry is not limited to painting and drawing but is inclusive of other aspects of her creative explorations. This may include writing, cooking/baking, and music. By focusing on a sense of freedom and playfulness, Danielle hopes to use her art as a more truthful representation of herself.
As a graduate of Rutgers University’s Art History program, Danielle is greatly inspired by the visual cultures of the past. As a Korean-American, female artist, she uses her creativity, in conjunction with historical awareness, to better understand and celebrate her cultural heritage and gender identity.
